GOOD FRIDAY
April 18, 2014 Georgetown, Washington, DC, USA
My sister came for Easter weekend so we decided to make a trip to Georgetown and head over to our favorite places! We first went shopping at Madewell and grabbed some tops we've been eyeing on and then headed to Pizzeria Paradiso (the best pizza place hands down) for lunch. Weather was a bit chilly and we decided not to see the cherry blossoms since the peak season was over and instead treated ourselves with sweets. I love how close DC is and always regret how I don't take advantage of the museums and what it has to offer.

BEAUTY FAVORITES + GIVEAWAY WITH SOKO GLAM
April 11, 2014
Now that I feel like I'm getting older I've been trying to maintain my youth with skin products that I've tested and approved. I found my holy grail cleansing oil which doesn't contain any mineral oil (my skin is super sensitive) Rohto, and my favorite face wash Ole Henriksen african red tea foaming cleanser. Another cleanser I've been using daily is SU:M37 rose cleansing stick (not pictured because I've used it all up), has natural ingredients and smells heavenly. I've been trying to exfoliate my skin and found a great sugar mask by Skin Food, you evenly apply it on your skin and leave it for 10 minutes and then exfoliate! To keep the pesky pimples at bay I use SK-II facial treatment clear lotion and Origins spot treatment.

My go-to blush this past couple of months has been the Nars x Guy Bourdin cheek palette and Benefit Coralista! I like to sweep my cheeks with either a coral or peach color and found that the $3 ELF brush I bought from Target works like a charm when using a powder blush.

I always carry my YSL sheer candy glossy balm in dewy papaya (no. 2) and my Etude House cherry tint (similar here) in my bag. For a natural lip stain I use the Tony Moly CatChu Wink (similar here), and top if off with the Etude House tint for a gradient look.

I have all three Naked Palettes but personally like the second one out of the three because of the neutral-to-taupe shades. I think Naked 3 is more suitable in the spring and summer and know I'll be reaching for it once the weather warms up!
Now...giveaway time!! I'm excited for this giveaway as there will be 2 winners, each winner will win a $50 voucher to Soko Glam :) As you all know Soko Glam is one of my favorite websites to buy Korean skincare and cosmetics and there's always products curated just for you.

These are some of my picks from Soko Glam, but there are plenty of items to choose from! IOPE Air Cushion is sold every 30 seconds in Korea, it's a one-of-a-kind foundation that helps you achieve the flawless look. You've already heard me rave about the SU:M37 rose cleansing stick and Skin Food black sugar mask that are now part of my skincare routine. If you're looking for a new eyeliner I would recommend Clio's waterproof liner, doesn't smudge or flake!

SPRING VIBES
April 4, 2014
So excited that there are finally hints of spring, it's been snowing on and off here on the east coast even though winter passed! The weather has been nice enough to run around my neighborhood and enjoy the spring breeze :) I've given my nails a mini break so they can breathe but will be painting my nails with the new spring polishes from Essie. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend, I'll be posting my spring beauty favorites next week!
Love, Sharon
