One of my favorite beauty trends in 2015 was the bold lip celebrities were seen wearing this year. I love when I see a bold lip paired with just a swipe of mascara on the lashes for a minimal look. My favorite actress, Léa Seydoux obviously looks amazing in any shade! CoverGirl outlast longer + moisture lipsticks, which you can pick up at your local Walgreens has amazing shades that you can wear from everyday to a night out.
Silver eyeshadow can double up as a highlighter on your cheeks and can instantly brighten your eyes. You can use the CoverGirl eye palette that comes with four shades to create a smoky eye look or go for a bright eye look. The shade I chose was "mirror mirror" because the four colors effortlessly go together to create any eye look. For full, voluminous lashes I recommend CoverGirl's plumpify blastpro mascara!
It's always hard being on top of hair trends because it's always constantly changing. This year the lob and balayage made waves, I was convinced I needed that cut and style after I saw Jessica Alba's haircut. What's a lob? Long bob. Models like Jourdan Dunn and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked amazing with the lob as well. Ombre transitioned out and balayage made its entrance, truthfully I couldn't tell the difference at first. I also liked the fishtail, knot, and side part hairstyle in 2015 because it looks classy and effortless, even though in reality it takes a lot of effort (for me at least). To keep your healthy and to repair damage to your hair I recommend Pantene 3 minute miracle conditioner or Pantene Pro-V damage repair conditioner.
I remember growing up I would always go to my local drugstore to buy makeup since it was affordable when I first started wearing eyeliner in middle school. Now that there's a Walgreens nearby I can swing by and buy my favorite beauty products and pick up some snacks to munch on. One thing I look forward to about award shows is the red carpet because I'm always looking to see the hair and makeup trends. Walgreens will be hosting a Twitter party on January 6 at 8pm EST and will be discussing their favorite #RocktheRedCarpet looks.
The People's Choice Awards will air on January 6 and thought it'd be fun to do a giveaway with Walgreens and Procter & Gamble. One winner will win a $75 gift card and P&G products you can find at your local Walgreens.
